If you’re looking for a fairly cheap beach holiday in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, head for Leng Meng Beach Bungalows on Serendipity Beach in Sihanouville, Cambodia.

The bungalows are located right on the beach and provide a stunning seaside view. The cost per night is between $25 and $30 US, depending on whether or not you want a room overlooking the beach. Although the price is a bit steep for a beach bungalow, these are the cleanest accommodations we could find in the area. The location is great. Sun beds and umbrellas are provided on the beach directly in front of the bungalows, which are set right on the beach. There is also an enclosed garden space which allows guests a bit of privacy and also serves as a haven from from the beach hawkers. Rooms are air-conditioned and the view is stunning. The rooms are small and clean, but a bit dark, owing to the wooden walls, ceiling, and floor. Internet costs $1.25 US. There are several bars and restaurants located further up the beach. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the seafood BBQ in the evening is quite good.
Sihanoukville is lovely. The beaches here remind me a lot of KoPhanghan in Thailand. Bars and outdoor restaurants line the beach and most visitors enjoy their meals while overlooking the sea. Sihanoukville is also well known for its beach hawkers and amputees, and that was the only thing that disturbed the almost tranquil beaches.

Day-trips to Bamboo Island and Koh Rung Island can be organized at the front desk, along with onward transportation via bus or private car to Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Vietman etc.
